That aint' workin, that's the way you do it

June 15, 2008

Every World of Warcraft player who has in iPhone had to shudder in both anticipation and fear when they read this:

World of Warcraft on the iPhone?

Anticipation: Wouldn’t it be cool to be able to wile away the time at those boring youth sports events I’m strong-armed into attending by doing my dailies?

Fear: Having given up Minesweeper and Solitaire years and years ago, do I really need another potential distraction at work?

But alas and alack, your humble WoW blogger already has version 1 of the iPhone, and doesn’t plan on giving Apple another $200 in order to get only a mildly better one.

On the gaming front, I’ve been helping my guy get his second character – an “affliction” warlock – up to 70. That happened last night so a big “Woot!” to him. The warlock is going on his first Kara run this afternoon. They grow up so fast! (sniff!)

So sometimes I feel as if I’m chatting at nobody in particular here, so feel free to toss a comment my way. If you play World of Warcraft, tell me how you balance work, family, friends, and WoW. If you don’t play, tell me why you’re reading this in the first place and do I sound like a complete maniac to you?

Happy Father’s Day!
