A happy return

October 21, 2008

Our soldier guildie is home from the Middle East, safe and sound. I saw him in game last night and he was dual-boxing, trying to get as many old world achievements as possible before WoTLK is released.

Speaking of the achievement system, it’s funny to be a former Alliance player and see Hordies looking for Deadmines, Stockades and Gnomeregan groups. My guildies are obsessed with getting these achievements and the titles that come with. Me? Notsomuch. Then again, I ran Deadmines plenty of time solo when trying to level up new weapons – pirates are fun! And Gnomeregan is my idea of Hell on Earth – explosions and leper gnomes suck.

Hey, I’m a former Alliance player too! I only log onto my Ally toons to say hello to my friends although most have followed me over to the Horde side. πŸ™‚

That’s great news about your friend returning from the Middle East, one of my friends in real life has been over there four times already. He’s a Naval officer.

I really have no interest in doing the Ally instances but who knows I might change my mind when my priest hits 70, might be fun popping into Stormwind as Horde. πŸ˜‰

And Gnomeregan is my idea of Hell on Earth

I couldn’t agree more! I never liked that place! πŸ™‚
