Achievement Roll Call! (prime time edition)
I usually write in the morning before work. Then I reread my post sometime before lunch and post it. Today I woke up late, and holy crow work’s been busy! So now that I’m home and have watched last night’s True Blood (omg Eric!) I can give you the good news.
I’m back, baby!!!

Friday night I came home from work and logged Leota & Spike in. I was dorking around when I was invited to a guild 5-person group. We then proceeded to tear through SEVEN instances in a row. I can write this freely because I know you won’t judge me. Her most notable achievements had to be the 100 emblems/badges and the Kirin Tor rep one. That’s her first exalted rep, and allowed her to get a neat lil’ head enchant.
Wait, she got one more!
How apt.
She won the sack of spoils from Sartharion (Sarth +0, baby, that’s how I roll) and that gave her enough Badges of Super Uberness to pick up her Tier 8.5 chest piece. WORLD’S WORST MAGE OWNS TIER 8.5!
How the hell did **she** get 8.5?
Okay, alright fine. Akromah, though achievementless according to Blizzard’s standards, had a fantastic weekend as well. Most notably, I went back into Ulduar on Saturday after about a 4 week break from it. I was very nervous at first because it was the first time healing with the 3.2 mana return nerfs.
And I didn’t suffer at all, oddly enough. I never went OOM, just had to eat more often. All my nervousness for nuthin.’ And although the guild’s downed Kologarn before, it’s the first time that I saw it. And that was awesome.

Gratz on the 8.5 gear! As a seriously undergeared hunter – I’m just starting to appreciate all the different tier/badges/stuff!
My hunter’s guild laughs at how many instances I’ve NOT been in! I solo’d to lvl 80, and started doing instances with them less than two months ago.
The quiet-pin-drop when the ‘Duel-icious – Win a duel against another player popped up on 07-01-2009. They were all – you’ve never won a duel? I said this is my second duel (same guy) ever. When I said I solo’d to 80, I meant it – lol!
Two funniest Recent Achievements
Ultimate Triage Use a Heavy Frostweave Bandage to heal another player or yourself with less than 5% health.
Back Door Job In Isle of Conquest, enter the enemy courtyard while their gates still stand.

Croc Day on Saturday netted me just one needed croc, and 3 duplicates.
I boosted my DK’s cooking from 168 to a bit over 350 to use the Waterlogged Recipe items – but ended up using them for my paladin instead, who was a good portion into revered with KT before, and almost halfway after.
Got several DPS upgrades for the paladin, bringing my self-buffed DPS to just over 2700. Got a nice tank necklace from H-ToC after a series of inexplicable wipes.
Got the warlock and warrior to 55. Now they need to rebuild rest before the Ramps runs.
Made the guild about a hundred gold selling some leftover crap and glyphs on the AH.
Friday had a brief date with m’Lady after she had a bad day at work and needed a night to herself.
Saturday we hung out almost all day – went shopping for work lunch stuff, went to Cheesecake Factory for dinner.
Sunday did some of the WoW stuff and then went back over her house (where I had the funky chinese food).
Dang!
That is alot of achievements! Glad to hear your doing well in Uld and gratz on your T8.5
We took a good group from our 25-man to pop most of the Ulduar 10 hard modes. Got FL (Orbituary), Ignis speed kill (whatever thats called), Heartbreaker, Disarmed, Crazy Cat Lady, Hodir speed kill (whatever thats called), Thorim + Sif (whatever thats called) and I Love the Smell of Saronite in the Morning (General + Saronite Animus).
Took a few shots at Yogg + 1 Keeper, but it got too late to give it its due. Firefighter will have to wait and the Razorscale achievement just takes some repetition.
Got myself Aesir’s Edge off of Heartbreaker which was pretty exciting.
well… i was away for most of the week and wans’t really on much. I was able to get into a few Heroics on my priest.. UK and Nexus i believe. And he got to do Sarth +0 also. I am slowly getting him up to speed… although it seems the cloth gear just does not want to drop. 😦 i am supposed to run some more stuff this evening… maybe i will get something today.
